Empire, Marjorie Merriweather Post, Hillwood Estates is one of the
premier art collector’s museums in the U.S. It features the most
comprehensive collection of Russian imperial art outside of Russia
and a world renowned collection of 18th century French art and
furnishings. It is surrounded by 25 acres of luscious formal gardens
.
Lunch will be served at MRS. K’s TOLL HOUSE RESTAURANT. In addition
to enjoying a full-course lunch at Mrs. K’s Historic Inn, you may view the
collection of “Historic Old Blue” Staffordshire, “The Window” of 56 Early
American pressed glass plates, The Benjamin Franklin Room, and her collection of
Nicholas Lutz exquisite glass as well as the gardens.
